Buick Encore Sales Boost 29 Percent To 8,293 Units In March 2017

Buick Encore sales increased in the United States and in Canada during March 2017.

Buick Encore deliveries in the United States totaled 8,293 units in March 2017, an increase of 29 percent compared to 6,426 units sold in March 2016. The performance represents the subcompact crossover’s seventh consecutive month of year-over-year sales gains and best-ever cumulative March sales result.

In the first three months of 2017, Encore sales have increased 16.6 percent to 20,079 units, its best cumulative first quarter sales performance ever.

Buick Encore Sales – March 2017 – Canada

In Canada, Encore deliveries increased 85 percent to 672 units in March 2017. In the first three months of the year, Encore sales increased 99.9 percent to 1,485 units in Canada.

The Encore’s record-setting March sales performance goes to show just the consumer market shift towards crossover utility vehicles (CUVs) over other vehicles such as sedans and coupes. The same can be said of the Encore’s platform mate, the Chevrolet Trax, whose sales increased 25.7 percent to 6,498 units in March.
