The very first production 2016 C7 Corvette Z06 found a new home at Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach. Offered straight from the General Motors collection, and used in various events to promote the introduction of the C7 Z06 at motorsport events and auto shows, VIN 001 of 2016 Corvette Z06 sold for $103,400.
Finished in Long Beach Red Metallic, the 2016 Corvette Z06 was one of six Corvettes offered from the GM collection, which included VINs 002 through 016. VIN 001 features the Z06’s 6.2-liter supercharged LT4 V8 engine paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission and was displayed at Bloomington Gold in 2015 and 2016.
The lucky individual who scooped up VIN 001 certainly has some potential treasure on their hands for the future.
