Let us just reiterate once more: Jay Leno has a really great job. On the latest episode of Jay Leno’s Garage, Jim and Mike Ring of the famed Ringbrothers stop by to show off their most recent creation, the 1948 Cadillac Madam V.
The 1948 Cadillac is pretty darn unique and uses some incredible techniques to bring it to life. If you missed it, Madam V is a 1948 Cadillac on the outside, but inside and underneath, it’s a 2016 Cadillac ATS-V. Ringbrothers actually took two ATS-Vs and lengthened the entire chassis by 14 inches to ensure the final product looked like it would be a 1948 Cadillac.
Ringbrothers truly spared no expense. Everything is custom fabricated on the exterior with the Frankenstein, ATS-V chassis underneath. But don’t worry, the custom shop did have it easy in some ways; the ATS-V’s hood is carried over to the final product… only after 600 hours of handcrafting to ensure it fit.
