GMC Yukon sales increased in the United States and in Canada during February 2017.
GMC Yukon Sales – February 2017 – United States
Cumulative deliveries of the GMC Yukon family totaled 6,336 units in February 2017, an increase of 19.5 percent compared to 5,304 units sold in February 2016. The 6,336 February deliveries consist of:
- 3,707 deliveries of the regular-length Yukon, an increase of 22.6 percent compared to 3,024 units sold in February 2016, and
- 2,629 deliveries of the extended-length Yukon XL, an increase of 15.3 percent compared to 2,280 units sold in February 2016
In the first two months of 2017, cumulative Yukon sales have increased 16.5 percent to 11,494 units, comprised of:
- 6,787 deliveries of the Yukon, an increase of 21.4 percent, and
- 4,707 deliveries of the Yukon XL, an increase of 10 percent

GMC Yukon Sales – February 2017 –Â Canada
In Canada, the Yukon family recorded 297 cumulative deliveries in February 2017, an increase of 5 percent compared to 283 units sold in February 2016. The 297 units are comprised of:
- 160 units of the regular-length Yukon, an increase of 5.3 percent compared to 152 units sold in February 2016, and
- 137 units of the Yukon XL, an increase of 4.6 percent compared to 131 units sold in February 2016
In the first two months of the year, cumulative sales of the Yukon family totaled 486 units in Canada, a decrease of 11.5 percent compared to the first two months of 2016. These 486 deliveries are comprised of:
- 269 units of the Yukon, down 7 percent from the 289 units sold in February 2016, and
- 217 units of the Yukon XL, down 16.5 percent from the 260 units sold in February 2016

The impressive 20 percent gain in Yukon sales further illustrates the ongoing change in consumer behavior dynamics that favors CUVs and SUVs at the expense of sedans and coupes. Fortuitously, the Yukon’s sales performance is highly beneficial to General Motors’ financial performance, since the K2 platform vehicles are some of the most profitable for the automaker.
