Construction Workers Thwart Buick-Wheeling Tool Thief And Ram Him Off The Road: Video

Construction workers often provide their own tools for whatever the job at hand may be. Not only does that mean they’re paid for out of pocket, but they’re often an expensive investment for a worker to make.

That provides a bit of perspective as to why a group of construction workers sprung into action when a thief attempted to steal tools at a work site. CCTV video from a house across the street from the work site shows a red Buick sedan roll up. Shortly after that, the thief quickly scopes the area out and grabs what appears to be a set of tools. In the process, the workers notice the theft and immediately begin sprinting after the man.

As the thief turns the ignition over, one worker jumps onto the hood of the Buick as the man appears to floor the car in reverse. One worker also jumps into a Ram work truck and takes off after the thief. There are a few moments of silence on the video before we assume one of the homeowners appears, calling for someone else while engine noises can be heard in the distance.

Here’s the crazy part: the Buick rolls back into frame with the worker still on the hood of the car. The Ram truck catches up to the Buick and then pulls an amateur pit maneuver, sending the thief’s vehicle off the road.

It’s an intense 1:39, and we’re hoping no one was harmed during what took place. Have a look for yourself right up above.

  1. The construction worker that jumped on the hood was like “not today”. Pretty scary there in the end though.
