Chevrolet ‘Real People, Not Actors’ Spoof Returns Better Than Ever: Video

Roll out your sense of humor, Chevrolet fans. Yet another spoof on the brand’s now commonplace “Real People, Not Actors” ads has surfaced. And it’s just as good as the last one if we say so.
Zebra Corner, the YouTube channel responsible for the spoof, this time focuses on Chevrolet’s numerous J.D. Power Initial Quality awards. However, as usual, it’s a slightly NSFW work take on the commercial.
The rogue “real person” questions who J.D. Power actually is, suggesting the name sounds like an adult film star more than anything. That’s not before calling into question what the J.D. Power award actually represents, a survey taken of initial quality during the first 90 days of ownership.
“Initially it’s quality, but after that, it’s just a piece of crap?”
You get the idea. Click play above and we’d kindly advise you to use headphones if you’re in a work scenario.

These are funny – but I’d be careful to not let them convince you that it’s positive publicity for Chevy.
There’s a little too much truth to how he and others feels about the “real people” effort, I’d guess.
To be fair, they may have been effective early-on, but they may be getting a little long in the tooth …
The early ones felt more real (focus groups), but now it feels less hidden camera and more staged.
Except the commercials have been a resounding success
The only people who dont like them work at the other car companies or bought their cars…Too bad they havent been able to stop these commercials even after so much whining. Lol
i hate these commercials.
i also hate the one where they introduce five “special” editions of a truck. after one or two, special loses its meaning.
These commercials are an insult to anyone intelligence and make Mike Rowe’s Ford truck ads appear downright hetero in comparison.
You guys forgot to show the CollegeHumor parody of the commercials a few days ago!
Terrible, just terrible is what these commercials are.
I’m so confused, weren’t those Audis?
