As Chevrolet heads into battle at the 65th Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, the bowtie brand has announced it’s extending its partnership with Sebring International Raceway.
Paddock Talk reports both parties agreed to extend the marketing partnership, which provides benefits for both. Chevrolet will continue to be the official vehicle of Sebring, which includes prominent signage over the famed Turn One walkover bridge.
“Sebring International Raceway and Chevrolet are proud partners, and our fans are Corvette fans,” said Wayne Estes, President and General Manager of Sebring International Raceway. “It is most fitting that Corvette will pace the field for the 65th running of America’s classic sports car race.”
Sebring has been deemed one of the most challenging tracks in the world since its inception after World War II. Since 1952, Sebring has hosted its 12-hour race to groom the fastest cars and finest drivers.
