The Bolt EV is the first mass-produced, all-electric vehicle from GM’s Chevrolet brand. In December 2016, the small EV went on sale in two launch states — California and Oregon as production of the vehicle is being ramped up at its Orion Assembly Plant in Michigan. In January 2017, the Bolt EV made its way to the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, with dealers in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Maryland, and Virginia now selling the vehicle.
