Callaway Corvette Aerowagen Stops By Jay Leno’s Garage: Video

When word broke Callaway Cars would be putting its Corvette Aerowagen into production, opinions were split on the design. In one corner, there were the lovers. In the other corner, the haters.

We can see both sides, but we think the shooting brake style works fantastically well for the Corvette. And so does Jay Leno.

The Callaway Corvette Aerowagen made a pitstop for an episode of Jay Leno’s Garage and the comedian by day, car enthusiast always shook down the shooting brake with Peter and Reeves Callaway.

If you’re unaware, the Callaway Corvette Aerowagen isn’t just a re-do of the vehicle’ rear end, it’s also a substantial power package. Horsepower climbs to 757 ponies thanks to Callaway’s expertise in supercharging Corvettes since the 1980s. So, in our book, it looks great, sounds great, and we know it drives great from time behind the wheel of a regular C7 Corvette Z06, in which the Aerowagen is based upon.

So, go ahead and jump into the episode yourself by pressing play right up above.
