February 2017 Buick Sales – United States
In the United States, cumulative Buick sales decreased 9.4 percent to 16,131 units in February.
Retail sales increased 8.1 percent or 1,160 units to 15,480 units, representing 96 percent of total Buick sales for the month. That compares to 14,320 retail sales in February 2016, which represented 80.4 percent of total Buick sales. In fact, the performance represents Buick’s best February retail sales performance since 2004.
Fleet sales decreased 81.4 percent or 2,840 units to 651 units, representing 4 percent of total Buick sales for the month. That compares to 3,491 fleet sales in February 2016, which represented 19.6 percent of total Buick sales.

- Buick Enclave sales decreased 27.94 percent to 2,973 units
- Buick Encore sales increased 11.15 percent to 6,528 units
- Buick Envision sales totaled 3,139 units
- Buick LaCrosse sales decreased 49 percent to 1,348 units
- Buick Regal sales decreased 36.38 percent to 1,023 units
- Buick Verano sales decreased 84.08 percent to 488 units
In the first two months of 2017, U.S. Buick sales have decreased 18.9 percent to 29,248 units.

February 2017 Buick Sales – Canada
In Canada, cumulative Buick sales increased 55 percent to 1,171 units. The results include a 72 percent increase in retail sales, marking the brand’s best retail sales performance in Canada since 2002. In addition, the figures represent Buick’s best-ever sales performance of SUVs in Canada.
Individual model sales performance was as follows:
- Buick Enclave sales increased 18.32 percent to 155 units
- Buick Encore sales increased 140.82 percent to 472 units
- Buick Envision sales totaled 196 units
- Buick LaCrosse sales increased 35.71 percent to 38 units
- Buick Regal sales decreased 59.78 percent to 37 units
- Buick Verano sales decreased 11.07 percent to 273 units
In the first two months of 2017, Buick sales in Canada have increased 48.28 percent to 2,113 units.

Not being harsh, but the headline says sales were 164,000 units in Feb, an increase of 3.4%.
But the US chart says 16,000+ sales in Feb, a decrease of 9.4%. And down 18.9% Jan-Feb.
I must be missing something – does 164,000 include China? Is it year on year?

Really? So no response to the headline that reads Buick sold 164,000 units in February, when the chart data says 16,131?
