I honestly think for some reason they should offer the 2.0T as an option for the essence model just as most of the sales are probably the essence and that’s what most dealers are selling. People would only go for the premium i or II if they really want the stuff or if they have big markups as that’s what I’m waiting for them to do
Is there any news about production upgrades to the Envision? The rest of the lineup is moving to the nine-gear automatic transmission and it seems that keeping a six-gear transmission will suppress sales. Also, is there any news about upgrades to the exterior design to keep competitive? When I pencil out the cost of a top line Envision to a Volvo XC 60, the prices are on par, but the Volvo offers a cachet that the Envision doesn’t. And, when I factor in the test drive reviews on YouTube of the Envision, I have even more doubts about buying one.
There’s supposed to be a refresh but don’t know when that’s coming. My opinions is that I think it’s best to test drive it yourself instead of just listen to the journalist. It’s not like by any means Buicks in general are canyon carver. But it’s just my 2 cents
