Buick Enclave Sales Slip 28 Percent To 2,973 Units In February 2017

Buick Enclave deliveries in the United States totaled 2,973 units in February 2017, a decrease of 27.9 percent compared to 4,126 units sold in February 2016. In the first two months of 2017, sales of the full-size crossover have decreased 27.5 percent to 5,665 units.

In Canada, the Enclave recorded 155 deliveries in February 2017, an increase of 18.3 percent compared to February 2016. In the first two months of the year, Enclave sales totaled 234 units in Canada, a decrease of 6.7 percent compared to the first two months of 2016.

The GM Authority Take

The current, first-generation Buick Enclave full-size crossover is now entering its ninth year on the market, a circumstance wherein it’s showing its age. Hence, we believe that the reduction in Enclave sales is a direct result of the current model’s age, as buyers find more modern offerings from rival automakers more attractive.

Fortuitously, an all-new Buick Enclave is on the way. We expect to see the model launch towards the end of the 2017 calendar year as a 2018 model. See more on the 2018 Buick Enclave.

  1. although there has been updates, the body style is the same from 2007 to 2017 . we know it is restyled for 2018 but 10 years is too long for one body style
