A Behind-The-Scenes Look At Truck Gurus’ 2016 Colorado From SEMA: Video

It’s been a few months since the 2016 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, but the efforts of the countless builders who brought their bold, custom-made vehicles to the show are still very much appreciated. Here, we have a behind-the-scenes look at Truck Gurus’ 2016 Chevrolet Colorado trophy truck, which was entered in the annual “Battle of the Builders” competition.

As with every Battle of the Builders entrant, this Colorado has been customized from the ground up. Under the hood, its 2.8L Duramax diesel engine has been fitted with a twin-turbocharger setup from Screamin Diesel Performance, boosting output past 330 horsepower and 550 lb-ft of torque, as measured at the wheels. The mid-size truck also boasts an LSK suspension kit, and rolls on 17-inch American Force wheels wrapped in 35-inch General Grabber tires.

You’ll learn plenty more about this badass Chevrolet Colorado trophy truck when you watch the video above. We can’t wait to see what this year’s SEMA Show has in store.
