Publications try their best to fit everything they can into one single review when testing a new vehicle, but some things only become apparent with time. That’s why long-term reviews exist. Or, even better, owners tell their stories on the gigantic thing we know as the world wide web.
One owner has done just that with his brand new, 2017 Chevrolet Camaro SS 1LE. 2,000 miles of ownership is a pretty safe amount of time in a vehicle to form solid opinions about what a vehicle excels at and where it falls short, too.
This owner seems to curb any bias he has with the Camaro SS 1LE and tells it like it is. Specifically, the visibility complaints are real. Though, as we’ve heard from other owners and Chevrolet itself, you get used to it. Blind spots and visibility become the norm inside the sixth-generation Camaro, but hey, at least it should make you a more careful driver when changing lanes or performing other maneuvers.
As for the power, the reviewer says the 6.2-liter LT1 V8‘s 455 hp is plenty for the real world. As is the case with many cars, owners don’t tend to push vehicles to their engineered limits often, meaning 455 ponies will be more than cool enough to show off in front of your friends.
We won’t spill everything out for you, though. Click play above for some pretty good SS 1LE insight.

What does this kid do for a living to afford cars like these? Must live with his folks
He is Carl Edwards’ kid 🙂
That explains it. Thanks
He is not Carl Edward’s Kid. Carl is 38yrs old and was married in 2009. Riley (this YouTuber) is in college. Carl would have had to have him when he was 18 years old. Carl’s kids are Michael and Anne.
