Cadillac is holding its promise. The brand stated it would not stay quiet through 2017, despite having no new product launching this year. Following the four big ads that debuted during the 89th Oscars, the brand is back with a quick spot surrounding its cash cow, the 2017 Cadillac Escalade.
The advertisement plays on the underlying tagline, “You can build a car, or you can build a Cadillac,” asking the viewer, “Why build something so commanding?”
It’s true, the Escalade is a mammoth vehicle and boasts one the brand’s best-executed interiors to date. However, a gussied up Chevrolet Tahoe isn’t the most daring product in the world, despite its success. The vehicle poses a great question for Cadillac, where will the Escalade go from here?
Overall, the spot does do an excellent job at showcasing product and features while creating an aura around the vehicle to slightly intrigue the viewer. Take a look at the ad for yourself up above.
