You may have recently seen the late rapper Tupac Shakur’s BMW sell for a cool $1.5 million. Now, a Los Angeles family is looking to capitalize on the sale of the significant BMW with this 1997 GMC Suburban, according to The Daily Mail.
According to the sellers, the 1997 Suburban housed Biggie Smalls, Notorious B.I.G. when he was shot and killed in the SUV nearly 20 years ago. The family who currently owns the SUV purchased the vehicle only a few months after the rapper was killed in it.
There’s proof this was the SUV itself, too. While the bullet holes on the outside have been repaired and patched up, a bullet hole still remains in the seatbelt where Smalls sat in the vehicle. The family also says police contacted them in 2005 after their SUV had been identified for a wrongful death trial surrounding the rapper.
After seeing what Tupac’s misfortune was valued at, the 1997 Suburban is going for an identical figure of $1.5 million. Even after putting 114,000 miles on the odometer, the family believes its significance warrants the price tag.
For fun, we ran the specs on the 1997 GMC Suburban through Kelley Blue Book to get an idea of what the SUV would normally sell for, and it’s peanuts. In excellent condition, the organization values the SUV at just $1,854. Hopefully whoever surfaces as a buyer is a really big Notorious B.I.G. fan.

Are the bullet holes still in it?
