The GM Authority Take
The decrease in Silverado sales in January is puzzling and somewhat concerning, since sales of Ford’s F-Series grew 12.5 percent to 57,995 units during the same time period. Not only that, but The Blue Oval’s full-sizes truck family saw a strong uptick of 19 percent at retail. As such, here’s to hoping that Silverado deliveries turn around, and do so quickly.

More real actors not people please, that ought to fix everything.
I need help!!! Yesterday I saw a truck for sale, and I need some people to tell me if it seems like a good deal and s worth my time to go see (1.5 hours away). The truck is a 2007 Silverado 2500HD Duramax, with just 44K miles on the odometer, Reg cab, 4WD, LT (hardly any options, almost WT), the price is 27,000, but the truck is worth 19K. Clean carfax, the paint looks good, but the spray in liner is starting to wear away, also the trailer hitch has a few rust marks (not rust), so the frame could have some rust on it being from northern NY. Thoughts?
GM better get its head out of its backside on pickup trucks. Ram almost outsold Chevy in January. People don’t look at GM anymore for 1/2 ton crew cabs because they can lease a Ram for $100.00 less per month. Ford has a more ch better interior and better leases on its super crew. Can we say GM falls to number 3 in pickup sales by year end??
