Chevrolet Prepares Its Performance Credentials For 2017 Geneva Motor Show

Although the Chevrolet brand was pulled from Europe years ago, it still holds a footprint with its two performance vehicles in the old world: the 2017 C7 Corvette and 2017 Chevrolet Camaro.

And the brand has plans to showcase its range of Camaro and C7 Corvettes at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show next month. However, it also has special plans for the Camaro, too.

Chevrolet says it will introduce an all-new Camaro concept called the Track concept. Per the brand, it “combines the qualities of a fast sports coupe for daily road use with the high-performance features for track use on weekends.” Sounds like the 2017 Camaro 1LE is you ask us.

But, this concept is said to feature 20-inch wheels with wider tires, a revised chassis with a 30 mm (1.18 inch) lower center of gravity and beefier Brembo brakes.

Chevrolet has a healthy history in Geneva. The brand revealed the C4 Corvette ZR-1 at the show back in the 1990s, and it followed its footsteps last year when it revealed the 2017 C7 Corvette Grand Sport.

Stay tuned here for news from Opel and Chevrolet as the Geneva Motor Show opens on March 9, 2017.
