Cadillac has taken a mysterious approach to marketing by hinting at something new on its official Facebook page.
The still video simply states, “We carry each other forward,” and shows an upward view of what presumably is a New York City neighborhood. The short video was accompanied by a brief statement reading:
The future is calling. It dares us to be greater, together. Explore 2.23.17 #DareGreatly
We doubt this has something to do with a new vehicle introduction, as Cadillac has nothing in the pipeline for 2017. However, the brand has previously stated that 2017 will be a year to flex its marketing muscles.
Without any new product to make a splash, Cadillac could have a new program or some sort of new experience up its sleeve. The fact the teaser statement says “Explore” has us thinking it certainly a marketing move of some sort.
Whatever Cadillac plans to show us, it will debut three days before Cadillac makes its presence known at the 89th Oscars. For the past two years, GM’s automotive luxury brand has rolled out its more on its “Dare Greatly” marketing motif during the venue.
Stay tuned as we bring you the latest on what Cadillac has cooking.

Cadillac minivan.
I was thinking it was a move away from Dare Greatly…
If nothing else, maybe they’ll add another dimension, or put some meat on DG’s bones.
Hope they’re using Escalades and/or the 5s to ferry people to and from the Oscars red carpet event.
Maybe we’ll finally see Cadillac embrace the XTS with a decent commercial.
Absolutely, this.
Next gen cue
I certainly hope its not going to be showing the Escala driving around since according to everyone its never going to be produced. I remember hearing one of Cadillacs marketing genius’s saying we would see the Escala in future commercials which makes 0 sense if they never plan on introducing it or something close to it.
