Here’s a quick tip: don’t drive across a frozen lake, especially with the unseasonably warm temperatures we’ve been seeing. That tip was not in the mind of this driver, who decided to tow his fishing shelter across Lake Michigan with his Cadillac Escalade EXT.
Things didn’t work out too well. The Escalade EXT can be seen chugging along the frozen water until, suddenly, the ice gives way. Like a game of Jenga, the ice collapses right underneath the Cadillac and the vehicle quickly begins to sink.
The driver’s friend supposedly gave him the all clear after riding across the same patch of ice on a snowmobile. However, a snowmobile pales in comparison to the nearly 6,000-pound Escalade.
The man driving escaped any harm, according to Mirror, but the same can’t be said for the Escalade EXT. As the video progresses, the cameraman documents the slow descent of the vehicle sinking until the fishing shelter is taken with it.

Isn’t it a game of “Jenga” instead of “Chenga?”
Thank you for correcting the name of the game 🙂
Dumb #hit make him pay for removal too
Another non-believer in global warming.
Man-made global warming is BS.
This was in the bay of Sturgeon Bay, WI with air temps around 50. The majority of Lake Michigan rarely freezes over even in the coldest winters.
What a dumbass! The best part is his insurance policy isn’t going to cover one dime of the cost.
