The Scarab Club, Detroit, Michigan’s premier art gallery, opened its Corvette art gallery on January 4, 2017, but this evening, January 6, 2017, the party starts.
The Scarab Club will host a reception to honor the Chevrolet Corvette and the incredible artwork on display through seven generation of the sports car. Not only that but art students were given a shot at conceptualizing the C8 Corvette, which is largely rumored to move to a mid-engine configuration for the 2019 model year.
The work has been gathered from General Motors’ design greats, such as Peter Brock, and also includes vintage advertisements for the Corvette.
The reception begins at 5 p.m. at The Scarab Club and will run until 8 p.m. If you’re looking for a more hands on look at the art, a gallery talk will be held on January 19, while the gallery itself will run until February 18, 2017.

No mention of Harley Earl in this article. I thought he designed the corvette. I seen American Pickers show and his son was showing design pictures his Dad rendor. Harley was showing the originals designs which were never seen before. Very interesting.
