If there is one automotive brand many aspire to, it’s Ferrari. The marque has a legendary motorsports history and an even greater lineage of incredible road cars.
Along the vast automotive timeline, General Motors decided to produce a sports car with exotic proportions. That vehicle was the Pontiac Fiero. And through history, the Fiero has been the basis for plenty of knockoff Ferrari builds. But, this one is pretty legit, even though it is still just a Fiero.
Fiat-Chrysler Authority discovered this Ferrari F40 replica build, based on a 1984 Pontiac Fiero, featuring pretty believable fiberglass bodywork to fool the non-car people type. As far as what we know and can see from the listing, the Fiero’s original 2.8-liter V6 engine remains, as do many of the Fiero’s interior appointments. But, from the outside, it sure is a looker.
Since only those outside of the bourgeoisie can afford a real Ferrari F40, this may have to do for one lucky buyer. For $13,000, it can be all yours.

Hmm 1984 was not available with the V6 engine.
Had a 1988 Fiero GT, 5-speed with leather seats. Bought it in 1997 with 6,000 miles on it. Kept it for 17 years. Loved that little car and it handled like a go kart. Finally sold it because I also had a Corvette. But the ’88 model was outstanding. Too bad it wasn’t as good when they came out in ’84.
A replica?
