LMR Straps Chevy C7 Corvette With 1000 HP Package To The Dyno: Video

We’ll have to start by recognizing the gorgeous wheels mounted on this 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. We’re not sure what brand they are, but they may just be the nicest set of aftermarket wheels we’ve ever seen on a C7 Corvette. And that’s saying something, especially because we don’t tend to make a fuss over such things.
Onto the main reason you’re reading this… what we have here is a C7 Corvette Stingray equipped with the 1000HP package from Late Model Racecraft. On the dyno this bad boy put down a whopping 935.52 horsepower and 756.69 lb-ft of torque. Surely this is enough to make the customer happy.
One YouTube commentator didn’t really appreciate the work, saying that LMR had become boring with its centrifugal supercharger builds. If you ask us, this person sounds a bit jaded. We would think LMR is better off sticking to what it knows best, and perfecting that craft.
That said, we’d like to hear what you think. Does LMR need to broaden its horizon in order to be looked at in the same light as the top dog tuners, such as Lingenfelter and Hennessey? Or are these impressive high-power builds enough on their own? Speak to us in the comment section below.
