Buick Enclave Sales Down Nearly 36 Percent To 3,800 Units In December 2016

In the United States, Buick Enclave deliveries totaled 3,800 units in December 2016, a decrease of about 36 percent compared to 5,936 units sold in December 2015.

During the complete 2016 calendar year, Enclave sales decreased about 16 percent to 52,028 units.

Buick Enclave Sales - December 2016 - Canada

In Canada, Buick Enclave deliveries totaled 126 units in December 2016, a decrease of about 33 percent compared to 188 units sold in December 2015.

During the complete 2016 calendar year, Enclave sales increased about 8 percent to 3,632 units.

The GM Authority Take

Introduced for the 2009 model year, the Buick Enclave full-size crossover is now entering its ninth year on the market. During this time, the vehicle hasn’t received a significant amount of updates or changes. As such, we believe that the decreases in Enclave sales and year-to-date is a direct result of the current model’s age, as new car buyers gravitate toward more modern offerings from rival automakers.

The good news, however, is that an all-new Buick Enclave is on the way. We expect the 2018 Enclave to land in the latter half of calendar year 2017 as a 2018 model. See more on the 2018 Buick Enclave.
