Woman Donates Her 2008 Cadillac CTS To Victims Of Tennessee Wildfires

Jenny Blanton donated her 2008 Cadillac CTS sedan to a couple who had lost almost everything in the recent deadly Tennessee wildfires.

Greg Pelc, a snow maker at Ober Gatlinburg, told ABC news affiliates that Jenny’s actions had given him and his wife, Karen, faith and hope in mankind. The couple had lost their home, their vehicle, and the majority of their belongings, but they were able to make it to safety along with their two adorable pups.

Blanton hopes that her act of donating the completely paid off Cadillac will set a precedent that will push car dealerships to take similar action.

“If you get five cars with five passenger seats, look how many families can thrive off of that,” said Blanton.

We applaud Jenny for her generous act, and hope the Pelcs enjoy their ‘new’ CTS.

  2. Sounds to me she did not like the car very much. Who knows for sure, it could have been the 3.0 V6 model. I have driven the 3.0 V6 model and the performance, too me, was not that great to consider for pre-own purchase.

    1. I don’t think the 2008 has the 3.0 yet? I thought it’s just the 3.6 Andy 3.6DI?
