Vintage Chevrolet Ads Made For Some Very Cool Insulation

Chevrolet hoped its newspaper ads for the 1973 model year of vehicles would push consumers into their vehicles to see the USA, but once upon a time, they were considered commonplace. Today, they’re actually pretty darn cool to take a look at.
Autoweek reports a Reddit user’s mother found these very cool newspaper advertisements from 1973 balled up as insulation behind as gas range. Not the most flame retardant insulation ever, but you know.
The first ad shows multiple white Chevrolets with the question of “Which Chevrolet will you vacation in this summer?” beckoning readers. The other ads float the iconic “see the USA in your Chevrolet” slogan across the newspaper spreads.
Of course, the slogan sort of lives on in Chevrolet’s most recent call to action: “Find New Roads“.
