Speedtech Performance 1969 Chevy Camaro Defies Physics: Video

It’s a beautiful thing when a collection of parts come together to create a fine automobile. When it comes to custom builds, a lot of thought is put into how all the components will work together, especially if it’s to be used on the track. This is no different for the pro-touring 1969 Chevrolet Camaro built by Speedtech Performance.

This beautiful, red Camaro is equipped with Speedtech’s ExtReme sub-frame, which allows for 315-wide tires in the front while having the ability to turn the wheel a full 30 degrees. In the rear, Speedtech’s torque arm rear-suspension is put to use, as is a 9-inch rear differential. The Camaro also features a 14-inch Bear brake package for the front and rear. Agility is the name of the game.

A tuned LS3 V8 is the powerhouse of choice. It puts out 525 horsepower and is mated to a T56 transmission.

What’s really neat is that the owner of this Camaro has had it since the age of 16. To see it transform from a boulevard cruiser to a track car must surely be rewarding, and we imagine that driving it is even more so.

As a side note, it would be really interesting to see this 1969 Camaro go toe-to-toe with the Detroit Speed 1969 Camaro we recently observed.

A car-loving millennial. We Are!
