‘Roadkill’ Builds A 1969 Chevrolet Impala As Its Most American Car Ever: Video

It seems fans of Roadkill had been asking for this one for a long time. The boys from Roadkill have taken on Mighty Car Mods, one of Australia’s most popular motoring channels on YouTube.
The challenge? Roadkill must build the most American car ever made and Mighty Car Mods would create a modding icon in the spirit of what they love. The results are pretty spectacular.
RK decided on a 1969 Chevrolet Impala as the starting point for their build but definitely went all out ‘Merican. A 489 cubic-inch big block V8 engine was dropped under the hood of the 1969 Impala, and they added some forced induction, too, with the help of a supercharger. True RK spirit right there.
From the Aussies, they decided on a Subaru WRX but chopped it into an Australian icon: a ute. Effectively, the Subarute.
