If you’re in the market for a Chevrolet EV or PHEV, and happen to be a member of the Farm Bureau, you are in luck. The brand is now offering a $500 incentive on the 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV and 2017 Chevrolet Volt for Farm Bureau members, according to InsideEVs.
Well, the cash allowance may be put towards any Chevrolet vehicle, but it’s intriguing to see it apply to the Bolt EV, knowing the first production models were just delivered on December 13, 2016. The report validates the cash back for the Bolt EV, as one Oregon dealership does show the incentive applicable for Chevrolet’s shiny, new electric vehicle.
Of course, it must be a series of fortunate events. The 2017 Bolt EV is only available in California and Oregon as of this writing, and obviously, you must be a Farm Bureau member. However, should the stars align, a little extra cash back never hurt.

Patience is a virtue. When GM has to meet emission credit goals, $500 incentives may be just the beginning.
