Chevy Cruze Sales Climb 2 Percent To 16,414 Units In November 2016

Chevrolet Cruze deliveries in the United States totaled 16,414 units in November 2016, an increase of 2 percent compared to the 16,073 units sold in November 2015. However, in the first eleven months of 2016, sales of the compact sedan are down 18 percent to 171,552 units.

In Canada, the Cruze recorded 2,430 deliveries in November 2016, a decrease of 22 percent compared to November 2015. In the first eleven months of the year, Cruze sales totaled 24,064 units in Canada, a decrease of 20.5 percent compared to the first eleven months of 2015.

For the 2016 model year, Chevrolet completely overhauled the Cruze sedan, marking the second generation of the nameplate. It also continued selling the first-gen model as the Cruze Limited. For the 2017 model year, Chevy is giving the Cruze sedan several changes and updates while also introducing a new five-door hatchback variant, which should better position the Cruze family against direct rivals from Ford, Hyundai, Kia, and Honda, and hopefully result in higher sales volumes.

Cruze is nice but, where I love, every other compact is Civic: Probably due to its larger than normal, mid-sized proportions plus reputation.
Finally starting to see a few of these on the streets instead of the dealer lots.
