Buick Envision Deliveries Total 1,785 Units In November 2016

The Buick Envision premium compact crossover saw 1,785 deliveries in the United States in November 2016 — its seventh full month on the market.

The figures compare to 2,351 U.S. deliveries in October and 1,648 U.S. deliveries in September. Since its launch in May, a total of 10,262 units of the Envision have been delivered in the United States.

In Canada, the Envision accounted for 237 deliveries in November, up from 122 in October. November marks the second-best-selling month for the crossover in Canada in the first eleven months of 2016.

  2. This was supposed to have a niche offering. Envision has real mainstream appeal that won’t compete directly with the new Terrain in showrooms.

    1. It wasn’t intended to be a niche offering per se, but rather volumes were expected to be depressed relative to cumulative sales potential due to production constraints. If the Envision ever gets increased capacity, then I expect US sales volume to be in the 7-10k per month range, depending on market fluctuations.

      Totally agree about the Envision not being a threat to the Terrain. In fact, given the newfound direction between Buick and GMC, both can have platform variants of crossovers in overlapping size classes and still be better than ok.

    1. No, there isn’t… unfortunately. But given the limited supply of the Envision, I going to assume that an overwhelming majority are retail units.
