MERRY CHRISTMAS, everyone!
2017 is going to be great!
This was supposed to have a niche offering. Envision has real mainstream appeal that won’t compete directly with the new Terrain in showrooms.
It wasn’t intended to be a niche offering per se, but rather volumes were expected to be depressed relative to cumulative sales potential due to production constraints. If the Envision ever gets increased capacity, then I expect US sales volume to be in the 7-10k per month range, depending on market fluctuations.
Totally agree about the Envision not being a threat to the Terrain. In fact, given the newfound direction between Buick and GMC, both can have platform variants of crossovers in overlapping size classes and still be better than ok.
Is there a breakdown of retail vs. fleet sales?
No, there isn’t… unfortunately. But given the limited supply of the Envision, I going to assume that an overwhelming majority are retail units.
