‘Angry Grandpa’ Receives His Dream 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air In Heartfelt Moment: Video

If you haven’t heard of “Angry Grandpa”, it has become an internet sensation on YouTube featuring various vlogs and videos of the old man. Per the video, there are only two things he has ever wanted, and his son has captured both of them on video. One was a new house, the second was a 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air.

As the story goes, his original 1955 Bel Air was stripped from him and given to his sister, who took it to California, after he purchased the car for $250 at age 16. After the Bel Air broke down, it was sold off and scrapped, rather than returned to Grandpa. As you will see in the video, it has clearly been on his mind all of these years later.

So, for Christmas, he had a surprise. His son brought home a 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air in the exact color scheme Grandpa once owned. Tears, hugs and heartfelt moments ensue.

Have a look at the entire video right up above.

Never had one, but the ’55 Chevy Bel Air is the one car that I have always wanted. No other car says “car” to me just by its classic looks like the ’55. Good on the son and his wife to surprise their father, you can tell it meant the world to him!
If my kids are reading this, I wouldn’t mind one either !!

Wow, takes me back to my High School days when I had a Black ’55 Bel Air. It was 1975 and car was 20 years old but was still cool. Long time ago , geez.

Take that Lexus. Now that’s a December to remember done right.

I’m way younger then the angry grandpa but a week ago I got a chance to sit in my dream car. A practically new 02 CETA. It made my Christmas. So I can only imagine what it was like for him.
