We don’t see Opel getting into the ultra-luxurious anytime soon, but that hasn’t stopped imaginations from running wild.
The 2018 Opel Insignia Grand Sport certainly does have the design chops to translate into a large limousine and looks pretty natural in this elongated form.
Of course, with our imaginations running wild, the interior cabin would likely be awash in more upmarket materials and seating rearrangements would mimic traditional limousine proportions.
We suppose there are more far-fetched ideas. An elongated 2018 Buick Regal would be a classy limo for the Chinese market, where Buick is held in high regard. But, still, this one is likely to be left for the digital realm.
