2015 C7 Corvette Z06 Becomes An Unfortunate Target For Vandals

It’s a pretty basic concept, right? Don’t touch things that aren’t yours, also known as “keep your hands to yourself”. Pretty elementary-level stuff.
However, that hasn’t stopped vandals from attacking this 2015 C7 Corvette Z06. Corvette Blogger reports the Corvette has now been added to an insurance auction sale site after it was totaled out following the damage.
The Torch Red Z06 had its convertible roof slashed and white paint was dumped inside the cockpit and all over the exterior. Some users report the Corvette was following a truck carrying the paint, leading to the damage, but the official listing states the Corvette was indeed vandalized.
Unfortunately, it may have some angry political ties. The Corvette Z06 is sporting a “Veterans for Trump” bumper sticker, and it’s quite likely this could have triggered whoever is responsible for the damage. For now, we don’t know exactly, but it’s a damn shame someone lost their car.

Quite ironic that these kinds of illegal and childish acts that have been taking place lately are, in and of themselves…DEPLORABLE. From the rioting, the looting, the pillaging, the burning of Police Cruisers and the vandalism that we see here…it is all despicable. “I don’t agree with you, so I’ll throw a tantrum like a 3 year old.”. I hope they catch the amoebas that did this. 🙁
One of our cars got pooped-on by an owl (I was guessing it was a pterodactyl) that was almost as bad.
That is a horrible thing to do. That being said I am pretty sure the Trump bumper sticker had something to do with it. I’m not saying that is a reason to justify the damage done to this car. Regardless of who you support why would anyone put any kind of bumper sticker on a Vette. To me that’s treating the car like a POS economy car

It would be an understatement to say that I don’t care for Trump, his campaign rhetoric, or his policies, but vandalizing someone’s car is the epitome of a chicken $hit move and does not help anyone’s cause.
I thought about a Clinton bumper sticker or yard sign to show my disgust with that a$$hole but was afraid of this kind of crap. Sad.
Why would you fear for the safety of your property when it has been ‘progressives’ who were vandalizing GOP offices during the election and vociferously vilifying everyone who doesn’t agree with their socialist/globalist agenda, and not the other way around?
See, conservatives generally don’t riot, vandalize, terrorize, and basically act like a bunch of 1930s Nazis to force our way of thinking down everyone’s craw.
Incidentally, this is why I didn’t put a Trump sticker on my Tahoe – I didn’t need some self-appointed social justice warrior vandalizing my truck because I had the temerity to foster a different opinion.

It is amazing those who cry about hate are the ones so often committing it.
You have a rights to your opinion and have the right to free speech but to do damage, looting, burning and just flat out hateful things is not a right in the Constitution.
Those who cry for tolerance are often the ones we see on TV doing all the damage. They claim that hate crimes are up but one has to wonder how many have they been behind?

The real shame of this is that those who perpetrated such a rancorous, unscrupulous, and execrable deed actually believe they’ve acted justly and feel no shame or remorse for what they’ve done. How progressive of them.

This had to be a Hilary supporter that hopes on the politicians or the govt to provide them a car for free bc they are entitled to one. Since the Corvette owner works hard for his money to buy a nice vette it wasn’t fair for the looters that someone else gets to have a nice car.
