1989 Buick Century Recalls Fond Memories In The Latest Regular Car Review: Video

No matter which generation you hail from, you likely have fond memories of the Buick Century. For me, personally, it was many friends’ first car in high school, or maybe even their parents’ car they’ve held on to since they didn’t want another car payment. The 3300 V6 served them well and they wanted nothing more from it.

The latest Regular Car Review has the 1989 Buick Century stopping by, and looking back on what the 1989 Century stood for when it rolled out into showrooms at the end of the 1980s. It was subdued, with many appointments recalling even simpler times, such as the fake, multi-spoke wheels and a dedicated “map light.”

It was the car many of us remember being in the backseat of during family road trips with no electronic devices to distract us from conversation and, as the video calls it, the mundane scenery of the America. The Buick Century is a memory personified, among other things.

Have a look at the video right up above.
