1968 Cadillac Coupe DeVille Looks Evermore Sinister On Bags: Video

This 1968 Cadillac Coupe DeVille was a contender in this year’s Battle of the Builders competition at SEMA, and while it didn’t come out on top (a certain Camaro did), it certainly deserves recognition.

It’s immediately apparent that this custom DeVille is a lowrider. The Vegas-bred build rides on an AirMaxx air bags, and sits on deep-dish, candy red STR wheels (the video description says they are Lexani wheels, but the video shows otherwise). We dig the red and white color scheme, and the artwork on the roof of the car really completes the car.

Of course, a honkin’ 427-cubic-inch Cadillac V8 sits under the hood, and its exhaust is expelled through a “hidden” tailpipe behind the driver’s side rear-wheel.

Our favorite aspect of this build, though, is that the creator, Jason Duhan, didn’t set out to win this competition. Jason’s “just a guy that builds cars,” and he was humbled by the fact that he and his team were invited to SEMA.

Are you a fan of the build, or is this Coupe DeVille just not your cup of tea? Check out the video, then let us know what you think.
