The GM Authority Take

GM’s full-size van lines Savana and its Chevy-branded twin, the Express, are by far the oldest in their competitive class while new and modern full-size vans from Ford, Fiat-Chrysler’s Ram, Mercedes-Benz, and even Nissan are taking the market by storm. The circumstance clearly puts GM at a competitive disadvantage. To dampen optimism even further, it’s currently unclear whether the situation will change any time soon. As such, we expect GMC Savana sales (and Chevrolet Express sales) to continue sliding well into the future, despite the uptick in October.
