More often than not we’ll care more about how a car feels and performs rather than how it looks, but that doesn’t mean we don’t appreciate a beautiful build when we see one. Much like the Black Manta Corvette, this custom 1961 Chevrolet C10 Blazer flaunts deep dish wheels and rides on an AccuAir suspension.
Built by the Sic Chops shop, the truck started off as a Suburban and was then chopped up into the Blazer that never was. The body panels seem to be aligned as well as possible, the paint’s finish looks impeccable, and the small, tasteful touches make this a top quality build – it’s the kind of work you expect to see at SEMA.
Scott Laitinen, head of Sic Chops, states that he hoped and believed this restomod would bring his shop up to the next level. Maybe it did, and we’re certainly looking forward to future projects from Sic Chops.
