I understand this is a snapshot of the numbers for a single GM line; in a quantitative analysis, some judgement factors or irreducible factors, can be introduced. What would you speculate are the non-quantifiable factors to be for this effective period in relation to the gradient series cash flow for this year?
What?
I did not account for this site’s target audience. The question was for the site’s economist. I withdraw my question.
This Malibu is a nice ride besting Accord in the Car and Driver rankings.
I think a new name, rebranding, was needed much like happenedwith Cruze a decade ago. Malibu hasn’tbeen an exciting offering for most Americans in years.
Malibu is so much better than Fusion and Sonada.
I dont mind criticizing GM when it’s warranted and constructive. However, this looks like an october anomaly, esp given that I’ve seen many malibus on the road that YTD 2016 sales are up 10%. The new malibu is a VERY nice car. I’m not sure I would put it ahead of the accord in terms of value for the price (the sunroof is optional and that 1.5L turbo doesnt review as well as the accords 2.4 cvt combo), but the car is spacious, light, nimble and looks like a luxury family sedan. I think it’s great and GM should be proud of it. One critique would be to bundle interiors and exteriors much like Honda does – it would help reduce unwanted color combinations sitting on lots. Also, just include the bloody sunroof.
