Callaway Wants To Hand You An Additional 90 Horsepower For Your 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1

Callaway has a long history of taking already-potent Chevrolet Camaros and Corvettes and handing out even greater power. The performance house has already shed light on what it can do for potential customers looking for more from their shiny, new 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.

According to Motor Authority, Callaway will hop the power up to 740 hp, an additional 90 ponies over the standard 650 hp, with the Callaway Camaro SC740 Package. “740” stands for the power, “SC” stands for supercharged. However, this all comes at a price.

Callaway will charge $17,995 over the base price of the ZL1, which rings in at $62,135. After all is said and done, that’s over $80,000. But the traditional Callaway trimmings will be present, including badging and more.

Callaway will release finalized power numbers and information in the near future after Chevrolet begins delivering the ZL1 to eager customers. The cars will come with a Callaway supercharger system and be assembled in either California or Connecticut.

            1. At least we know you have no job at all, and you want Trump to give you one on a plate and never put you to a test that may lead to “you’re fired”. Because you would be, like every other employee he’s ever had that didn’t come out of one of his wives.

  2. When I add 110 to 650 I get 760. How do you get 740?

    Reply
    1. The increase is actually 90 hp. Still impressive, but not 110. Just an arithmetic error.

  3. For less than $17,995 I can add those 110 HP to my present garage, and get a full body, interior, wheels, tires, and infotainment system as a freebie: Just buy another car!

  4. There are much cheaper ways to achieve this.
