Build Your Own 1968 Chevrolet El Camino Following Your Thanksgiving Dinner

Don’t let yourself fall into a nasty food coma following your Thanksgiving day dinner. Keep productive. How can you keep productive? By building your own 1968 Chevrolet El Camino, that’s how.
H&H Classic Chevrolet Parts has introduced a way for anybody to build their own El Camino. But, it’s not a real El Camino, unfortunately. It’s a paper model you can print out from the site here and work to build with an instructional video.
What better way to keep the kiddos entertained or get the family involved than with this clever model? It actually looks pretty cool if it’s done correctly, too. Just beware of the paper cuts.
Happy Thanksgiving from all of us here at GM Authority.

Interesting, but REAL is nicer.
I experienced the real thing when I ordered a 69′ SS El Camino with a 396″-375hp engine and Turbo Hydramatic. Great car, but the engine was problematic as the high compression and points ignition combo caused the need for a tune-up every weekend. It would go through points, rotor and cap every week and I mostly only drove it on weekends. My 69′ C10 pick-up with a lower compression 396″ would go several months before a tune-up.
