Buick Verano Sales Fall 13 Percent To 2,336 Units In October 2016

Buick Verano deliveries in the United States totaled 2,336 units in October 2016, a decrease of 13 percent compared to the 2,693 units sold in October 2015. In the first ten months of 2016, Verano sales are flat at 27,704 units.

In Canada, the Verano recorded 681 deliveries in October 2016, an increase of 24 percent compared to October 2015. In the first ten months of the year, sales of the vehicle totaled 6,470 units in Canada, an increase of 18 percent compared to the first ten months of 2015.

The GM Authority Take
2017 represents the last model year of the Verano in the United States and Canada, with Buick planning to discontinue the vehicle in North America, while launching an all-new, second-generation model in China. However, a high-performance GS variant of the second-gen Verano hatchback was recently spotted undergoing testing at GM’s Milford Proving Grounds, raising hopes that the second-gen Verano will, in fact, make it to North America after a slight hiatus.
