2018 Opel Insignia Grand Sport Teased In 2017 Calendar

Opel has a quirky thing it does, launching a calendar each year with a new theme. This year, it was Grumpy Cat (Tardar Sauce) and Georgia May Jagger. But, there’s an Easter egg hiding in the month of October calendar.
Car Advice spotted the October month’s feature photo, which has the 2018 Opel Insignia Grand Sport hiding behind Jagger’s pose. We can only see a headlight and part of the grille undisguised, but this is the first time we’ve seen a look at the upcoming Insignia Grand Sport undisguised.
As expected, we see plenty of Opel Monza design cues, but the grille shape is quite reminiscent of the Buick Avista concept we saw at last year’s North American International Auto Show.
The 2018 Opel Insignia Grand Sport will also become the 2018 Buick Regal here in the United States and the highly-anticipated, and criticized, 2018 Holden NG Commodore.
