2017 Chevrolet Spark Activ Beckons An Inner City Adventure

Chevrolet wants to let people know the Spark isn’t just another minicar. In fact, it can look tough and take you anywhere you’d like to go. That’s the message with the 2017 Chevrolet Spark Activ.
The brand says the trail-inspired accents boost the Spark’s adventurous aura. However, don’t expect to actually take the Spark Activ too far off the beaten path. The Spark Activ’s ride height has been raised 0.4 inches, but hardly enough to get into some serious off roading.
Instead, the 2017 Spark Activ looks to be an inner city adventurer.
“The new Spark ACTIV is all about adventurous fun and style,” said Steve Majoros, Chevrolet director of Car and Crossover Marketing. “It has an attitude, while still offering the sophisticated, efficient and connected driving experience customers have come to love.”
The contrasting wheelhouse moldings and hatchback cladding give the impression of tough stuff, while roof rails and rocker moldings up the soft-roading nature of this vehicle.
The 2017 Spark Activ will arrive with either a manual gearbox, starting at $16,945, or a CVT, starting at $18,045. Look for the Chevrolet Spark Activ to venture its way into dealers in the first quarter of 2017.
