2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV Named Green Car Journal’s Car Of The Year

Green Car Journal has awarded its coveted honor of Green Car of the Year to the 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV. This marks yet another award for the Bolt EV as it continues to sweep up honors here at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show.

“The 2017 Bolt EV is a game-changing electric vehicle that delivers long range at an affordable price,” said Steve Majoros, Marketing Director, Chevrolet Cars & Crossovers. “We’re excited to have the Bolt EV arrive to select dealer showrooms later this year and honored to have it named as Green Car Journal’s Green Car of the Year.”

We don’t mean to sound like a broken record, but the 2017 Bolt EV was selected for its 238-mile range, pleasant driving dynamics and host of technologies that improve the driving experience, including its regen on-demand for one-pedal driving.

The 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV has also been named to Car and Driver’s 10Best list, won Motor Trend’s Car of the Year and is now a finalist for the 2017 North American Car of the Year. The Bolt EV also makes Chevrolet a repeat winner after the 2016 Chevrolet Volt won the award last year.
