The 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV is a pretty frugal machine from a green car standpoint. It’s a no-brainer that it has made its way as a finalist on the road to becoming the 2017 Green Car of the Year, then.
Green Car Journal, responsible for crowning a victor, announced its five finalists for the award, which also include the BMW 330e iPerformance, Chrysler Pacifica, Kia Optima and Toyota Prius Prime.
The 2017 Bolt EV was lauded for its incredible electric range (238 miles estimated by the EPA) and scored bonus points for an array of technologies to personalize the driving experience.
However, will it be enough to win? Last year, the 2016 Chevrolet Volt took home the W for General Motors. Maybe Chevy can go back to back. We’ll find out on November 17 when the winner is announced.
