Proposed C7 Corvette ZR1 Prototype Caught Testing In Colorado: Video

Another week, another sighting of what the industry believes to be the 2018 C7 Corvette ZR1. We think it’s a ZR1 with good reason, too, but until we have confirmation, we’ll keep our minds open.
Anyway, The Fast Lane Car caught the 2018 Corvette ZR1 prototypes in Colorado huddled together before taking off for some high altitude testing. One prototype was even left running, which you can hear in the video above.
After putzing around the parking lot getting a good look at the Corvettes, TFL also managed to catch one as it ripped off into the roads. From what we can see, high performance is certainly of high priority.
The same star pattern wheels are present and the heavily camouflaged front fascia seems to hide revised aerodynamic cues. If we’re not mistaken, it looks like there is a gnarly front splitter attached as well.
Check out the video above for nearly five full minutes of 2018 C7 Corvette ZR1 goodness.
