GMC Yukon Sales Rise 26 Percent To 8,796 Units In September 2016

Cumulative deliveries of the GMC Yukon totaled 8,796 units in September 2016, an increase of just under 26 percent compared to the 6,990 units sold in September 2016. The results represent the Yukon family’s best September since 2007. Those 8,796 units are made up of:
- 5,296 deliveries of the regular-length Yukon, an increase of 34 percent compared to the 3,963 units sold in September 2015, and
- 3,500 deliveries of the extended-length Yukon XL, an increase of nearly 16 percent compared to the 3,027 units sold in September 2015
In the first nine months of 2016, cumulative Yukon sales have increased 17 percent to 59,438 units, its best year-to-date performance since 2007. The 59,438 units are comprised of:
- 35,325 deliveries of the Yukon, an increase of 18 percent, and
- 24,113 deliveries of the Yukon XL, an increase of 15 percent

In Canada, the Yukon family recorded 551 cumulative deliveries in September 2016, an increase of 57 percent compared to September 2015. The 551 units are comprised of:
- 332 units of the regular-length Yukon, an increase of 102 percent compared to 164 units sold in September 2015, and
- 219 units of the Yukon XL, an increase of 17 percent compared to the 187 units sold in September 2015
In the first nine months of the year, cumulative sales of the Yukon family totaled 3,418 units in Canada, an increase of 50 percent compared to the first nine months of 2015. These 3,418 deliveries are comprised of:
- 1,854 units of the Yukon, up 52 percent over the 1,220 units sold in September 2015, and
- 1,564 units of the Yukon XL, up 48 percent over the 1,059 units sold in September 2015
