Geiger Cars Offers Tuning Solution For European Cadillac ATS-V Owners Who Want More

Owners of the 2016 Cadillac ATS-V living in Europe do not have access to as many local aftermarket tuners as owners who reside here in the ‘States. One strong option they do have, though, is a company known as Geiger Cars based in Germany.
The company has created the ATS-V Black Line, which flaunts the brand’s offerings, including a performance package, a set of OZ wheels with sticky tires, and a set of stiffer springs.
With a cost of €7,990 ($8,973 USD), the performance package is comprised of an ECU remap for the 3.6 LF4 twin-turbo V6 and a valve-controlled sports exhaust system complete with an X-pipe, stainless-steel cat-back, and 4.33-inch tailpipes. These changes yield a gain of 53 horsepower and 41 lb-ft of torque for a total output of 508 horsepower and 486 lb-ft of torque. No word yet on how this affects 0-to-60 times or the like, but Geiger did say that the ATS-V’s top speed has increased to 194 mph, nearly 10 mph faster than the factory limit.
The set of 19-inch OZ Leggier alloy wheels have a price tag of €3,990 ($,480 USD) and come wrapped in 255/30ZR19 and 275/30ZR19 tires in the front and rear, respectively. They look devilishly handsome on the ATS-V, especially when combined with Geiger’s drop springs, which lower the car 0.98 inches and cost€1,090 ($1,224 USD).
Good looks, and a decent bit of added performance; Geiger Cars seems like a sound choice for anyone looking to get more from his or her ATS-V.

the side view profile looks hideous….the rear looks like it has been punched in.
All the current cadillac profiles look hideous and dated/boring. Just like the rear…
*uck the current cadillacs.
I think the car looks pretty sick. To each their own when it comes to what one likes.
I want one. Minus the stupid front plate and raised @$$ end. Would like to know if 508HP is RWHP or CHP. RWHP would be sweet. $9K is not so sweet for something you can do for soo much less. Fronts need to be 275’s while rears should be at least 295’s or 305’s+ Since C6 Z06 HP needs them for that HP level. 275’s and 255’s is a joke.
all madarn Cadillacs fronts tend to look longer than the rears…..long front and short rears.
This is a perfect case of why Cadillac is moderating their styling.
While I really love this car for the in the face look it also is a very polarizing design. It is either loved or hated.
I give credit for Lutz and Wellborn for trying and taking a chance here but the sales numbers show the results. Part of it is the coupe but still the numbers were very low on this for even a coupe.
So as Cadillac tries to make a car that has appeal to a broader audience keep in mind why.
I like to relate Cadillac to Metallica. In the beginning they were thrash and hard edged not unlike the first A&E styling. But they Moderated and refined their sound to the Black album and sold more music than they ever could imagined. Yet they still retain that Metallica sound not to be confused by any and often copied by many.
This car did its job grabbing attention and setting a style that is going to be blended till it reached the largest group possible. Some like one here will never be happy as you can never make some happy even if you built it to their spec.
This is about selling cars to as many people you can at this price range. They are now going through all the product to take it up a notch for every model.
So, I guess the awful Load (and Re-load) era of Metallica was like the GM of the 80’s. In both cases, the goal was sales volume over quality of product which resulted in lasting damage to their brand they are still trying to repair.
Stock m5 vs cts v 2016
What a *uckin shame… Where the *uck is the 640??? 100 hp difference and still the m5 is faster. Now imagine how fast the upcoming m5 will be…
I’m so tired of the GM , their designs , their engines. Everything is an old BS. I’m very angry. I’m mad. Because I was thinking , like if the caddy v series were not the prettiest cars, well at least they were the fastet in their class. And look at this… The outgoing m5 has just outclassed this boring lookin bs. 640 hp… bla bla… Look at the real life results u dumb ucks from gm. Ur products are pos. And ure nothin but liars
What a *ucking shame
It’s hard to believe Cadillac’s ATS and Chevy’s Camaro share common DNA; it makes you wonder what the ATS-V might have been if Cadillac was willing to use the LT4 640 hp supercharged 6.2L V8 because while the LF4 is an excellent engine, the LF4 just can’t match what the LT4 can offer.
