I’ll take an Equinox over a Malibu…..I find the new Malibu vary frumpy…..the 2018 Equinox looks 10 times better than the new Malibu.
You’d be better off in a Buick. Roughly the same money with better looks, options and resale value. The new ‘New Buick’ commercial with the LaCrosse just highlights how far Chevrolet has fallen compared to Ford, Kia, Nissan etc.. in the mainstream market. It really makes me sad that these new Buick’s (nearly all of them) aren’t Chevrolet’s. The same goes for the commercials. The LaCrosse one had the ‘baseball, hotdogs, apple pie & Chevrolet’ family vibe about it. Chevrolet (and for that matter Cadillac) just haven’t been able to get their styling mojo together nor their marketing the last many years. Ford, Buick, Kia, GMC and others have somehow managed though. The Malibu’s front end just isn’t good. Oh well.. Maybe next product cycle. I still love the Corvette & Colorado!
